Cat Scratching Posts
A scratching post isn't a luxury for a cat, it's a necessity — she uses it to sharpen her claws, stretch after a nap and mark her territory. Without one at home, the sofa or the carpet will do just as well.
Our range includes cardboard scratchers and loungers for a few pounds, sisal posts with a cosy perch, multi-level scratching posts and ceiling-mounted models reaching around two metres in height.

How to Choose a Scratching Post for Your Cat
- Height. A cat needs to be able to stretch out fully against the post — for an adult cat, allow at least 60 cm of vertical scratching surface.
- Material. Sisal lasts the longest, cardboard is the cheapest and cats love it, while plush fabric is better suited to resting than scratching. Cats that prefer to scratch horizontally will appreciate scratching mats and sacks.
- Stability. With tall multi-level models, the weight of the base is what matters most. For sturdy cats there are dedicated scratching posts for large, heavy cats, while small flats are better suited to ceiling-braced posts.
- Location. A scratching post belongs where the cat sleeps and where she has already started scratching — not in a forgotten corner.
