Aquarium Plant Care
Caring for aquarium plants is essential for maintaining a healthy, balanced environment in the tank. Plants need adequate light of the right intensity and spectrum, regular feeding with liquid or substrate fertilisers, and a stable supply of carbon dioxide (CO₂), especially in tanks with more demanding species. To support growth, it's also important to maintain the right pH, temperature and water cleanliness. Regular trimming prevents overgrowth and encourages denser growth. When changing water or carrying out maintenance, handle the plants gently to avoid damaging the roots or leaves. Proper plant care helps prevent algae growth and contributes to the aquarium's biological balance.
