A veterinary joint supplement for dogs and cats. ALAVIS™ 5 nourishes joint cartilage, supports the lubricating properties of joint fluid and helps with mobility problems. ALAVIS™ 5 contains a combination of MSM and chondroprotective substances - glucosamine sulphate, chondroitin sulphate, hyaluronic acid and collagen.
It is recommended as a preventive measure for older animals and for puppies of large and giant breeds, as well as for animals with joint problems and for sporting and working dogs of all ages.

Active ingredients and their effects:
Glucosamine sulphate - stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesise proteoglycans and is the basic substrate for their formation.
Proteoglycans are the basic building blocks of cartilage.
Chondroitin sulphate - binds large amounts of water, thereby hydrating the cartilage, supports the formation of proteoglycans and reduces collagenolytic activity. It has a mild anti-inflammatory effect.
MSM - is organically bound sulphur that acts to strengthen ligaments and tendons, suppress inflammation and pain, and also to regenerate and relax muscles.
Hyaluronic acid - is the main component of the synovial joint fluid. The higher the concentration of hyaluronic acid, the better the lubricating properties of the joint fluid and the better the nourishment of the joint cartilage.
Type II collagen - is the main protein of joint cartilage, ensuring its strength, flexibility and resilience. The collagen contained in the
ALAVIS 5 product is hydrolysed, which means it is enzymatically broken down into smaller particles that are better absorbed in the digestive tract and are therefore much more usable for building and renewing damaged cartilage.
How to use:
The tablets are given daily according to the recommended dosage, directly into the mouth or with a piece of food, or crushed into the food. Animals usually accept the product without any problems.

Ideally give the product for three months, then take a break of 1 - 3 months and start the product again.

1 tablet contains:
glucosamine sulphate 500 mg, chondroitin sulphate 200 mg, methylsulfonylmethane 200 mg, type II collagen 60 mg, hyaluronic acid 18 mg

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, calcium carbonate, stearic acid, silicon dioxide
To preserve the quality of the product, no colourings or preservatives are added.
Note: The product can be given with foods containing chondroprotective substances. This enhances the positive effect. The product contains no sugar.
