Proč vybrat Zoo Med
Vynálezce UVB lampy pro terárium
V roce 1993 přišel Zoo Med s vůbec první UVB zářivkou pro teraristiku (ReptiSun) – dnes v řadě T5 HO, T8, kompaktní i LED variantě, klíčová pro syntézu vitaminu D3 u plazů.
Přírodní substráty Eco Earth
Substrát z kokosových vláken (coco fiber/coir) – ekologický, kompostovatelný, drží vlhkost pro druhy vyžadující vlhčí prostředí (žáby, gekoni a další).
Topná technika ReptiTherm
Podložkové topení jako primární i doplňkový zdroj tepla, pro velká terária a želvy pak výkonnější Habitat Heater – doplněné termostatem ReptiTemp.
Přes 30 patentů, od roku 1977
Gary Bagnall založil Zoo Med v Kalifornii, dnes sídlí v San Luis Obispo, kde vzniká víc než polovina produktů. Firma provozuje i vlastní chovná terária a muzeum historie akvaristiky a teraristiky.
