Alavis Traumagel for Dogs and Horses 100g

Alavis Traumagel is a help for musculoskeletal pain in horses and dogs. It has a rapid onset of pain-relieving action. The product is natural and contains menthol and the patented substance Celadrin, composed of cetylated esters of myristic, myristoleic, palmitic and other saturated and unsaturated fatty acids that enhance the overall positive effect. In addition, Celadrin provides effective lubrication of the joint cartilage and helps against inflammation and pain.

Celadrin is a patented substance that systematically strengthens and moisturises cell membranes and gives cells youthful suppleness and elasticity. Its composition combines two substances with similar effects. One of them is a cetyl derivative. Cetyl compounds have been used for many years by the pharmaceutical industry as detoxifying, disinfecting and, ultimately, anti-inflammatory substances. The second component is a mixture of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, especially myristic, myristoleic and palmitic acids. This balanced composition is useful not only because it helps to transport the poorly water-soluble cetyl compounds but, as the latest research shows, these components have their own protective and physiological effect. They inhibit 5-lipoxygenase, an enzyme that promotes oxidative and inflammatory processes. It is precisely inflammation that is the source not only of pain but also of free radicals, which further worsen the disease condition. We can therefore summarise that the components of the patented substance Celadrin are natural antioxidants, help against inflammation and specifically block the activity of the undesirable enzyme.

Menthol is a substance contained in peppermint; it has a mild local anaesthetic effect and helps blood flow to the tissues, which is important in inflammation and pain. The cooling sensation is caused by its ability to chemically trigger temperature receptors, thereby providing relief in inflammatory diseases of the joints, muscles and ligaments in both acute and chronic conditions.

How to use: Apply Traumagel to the affected area as needed 1-3 times a day according to the clinical condition.

Store in a closed tube in a dry place at room temperature. Use by the date stated on the tube. Although these are safe substances, we recommend preventing licking of the product. Keep out of reach of children!
