Aquariums

Aquariums form the foundation of every freshwater or marine fish and plant setup. They come in various sizes, shapes and materials – most commonly glass or acrylic. When choosing one, it's important to consider the volume (the larger it is, the more stable the environment), the type of set-up (community aquarium, biotope, planted or marine tank) and the space available. Alongside classic rectangular aquariums, corner, panoramic and designer tanks are also popular. Equipment plays an important role too – a lid with lighting, cover glasses, an aquarium base mat or built-in technology. A good-quality aquarium isn't just a home for aquatic creatures, it's also an attractive addition to any interior.
