The food is adapted to the slightly lower energy requirements of indoor and sterilised cats; it is also suitable for older or overweight cats. Fresh chicken contributes to increasing the palatability and digestibility of the food, so the cat can better absorb nutrients. L-carnitine transports fatty acids into the cells and is an essential part of a cat's metabolism.

The cellulose fibres contained in the food help to reduce the formation of hairballs. MacroGard, a natural beta-glucan to strengthen the immune system. Vitamins and natural antioxidants support natural defences. L-carnitine supports metabolism. FOS and MOS support digestion. The proportion of animal protein is 79%.
