The BUSTER Design Collar is wittily and imaginatively printed with an "under renovation" theme and with cute captions encouraging consideration for dogs recovering after a procedure at the vet's. These collars are made of soft and flexible polypropylene. It is transparent and is fitted with a quick and simple fastening, proven also on the Clic Collar collars.

The collar prevents the animal from licking and gnawing surgical wounds and pulling out stitches anywhere on the body. It is also suitable for protecting a wound on the limbs and against scratching on the head, e.g. after eye operations.

When choosing a collar, you need to take into account the neck girth and the length of the head. The neck girth is adjustable on the collar; the length of the head is measured from the neck (at the point of the collar) to the end of the muzzle (measure across the cheek, not across the skull). The collar sizes given in the description correspond to the width of the collar (the length of the head). Choose a collar that will exceed the length of the head by several centimetres - the larger the animal, the larger the margin. This is necessary so that the collar performs its function well; the animal must not be able to reach the wound even with its tongue stuck out.

The collar is made of transparent, firm plastic. Regularly check that it is not causing the animal any abrasions.

Fitting the collar:
Join the collar according to the neck girth to the required size, and also prepare the loops for threading the collar through. Slip the collar over the animal's head and secure it by fastening the collar so that it does not choke the animal, but so that the animal cannot take it off.
