 Canagan Insect is a highly digestible, hypoallergenic recipe that is particularly excellent for dogs with sensitive stomachs and for dogs prone to allergies. Like other products in the Canagan range, it is completely grain-free. Black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) as the primary protein source make it a fully nutritious and sustainable food for your pets.

Insects have provided animals with essential proteins, minerals and healthy fats since ancient times. As the most abundant source of nutrition in the forest, they helped keep dogs' ancestors in optimal health. It is a highly digestible source of protein particularly suitable for dogs suffering from allergies, and its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties benefit dogs at every life stage. Canagan Insect kibble is also enriched with insect oil, which is full of essential fatty acids (such as lauric acid) that support the health of the skin, coat and brain.

nutritious insects – rich in highly digestible protein, bioavailable calcium for strong teeth and bones, and healthy fats for a beautiful, glossy coat;
salmon and insect oil – full of essential fatty acids for a radiant coat, healthy skin and brain health support;
joint nutrition – a high content of chondroitin sulphate, glucosamine and MSM, ingredients that support the health of the musculoskeletal and joint system;
sweet potatoes – a highly digestible source of slow-release energy, rich in antioxidants and soluble fibre;
seaweed – a natural and valuable source of minerals including iodine to support thyroid function and regulate metabolism;
marigold, cranberries and chamomile – marigold stimulates the production of white blood cells and strengthens the immune system, cranberries are rich in vitamin C and help support urinary tract health, and chamomile has a beneficial effect on the central nervous system and helps reduce stress.

Feeding guide:

The recommended dosage is shown in the table on the pack. The recommended daily feeding amounts are for guidance only; the quantity of food given should be adjusted to the dog's age, activity level, environment and condition. Canagan can be introduced during weaning, ideally soaked in water. Gradually switch to dry kibble between weeks 5 and 6. Your dog must always have access to clean, fresh water. Store in a dry, cool place.
