Canina Canhydrox GAG 200g (120 tablets)

A complex preparation intended for the healthy development and strength of dogs' musculoskeletal systems, designed especially for large and heavy dog breeds. It strengthens connective tissue, joints, cartilage, bones, teeth, ligaments and tendons. Thanks to its hydroxyapatite content (a substance that makes up more than 50% of bones and over 90% of teeth), it supports bone flexibility, strength and stability, correct limb posture, and also acts as prevention against osteoporosis.

Canhydrox GAG is particularly suitable for young growing dogs, older dogs and dogs that are active in sport.

Green-lipped mussel meal (Perna canaliculus) contains glycosaminoglycans and omega-3 fatty acids, which contribute to better joint function and strengthen joint cartilage, while vitamin C supports collagen formation and strengthens connective tissue and gums. Vitamin E and selenium act as antioxidants, protecting cells from oxidative stress. Methionine, a sulphur-containing amino acid, helps support correct joint metabolism.

The preparation helps improve the condition of the musculoskeletal system and also acts as prevention against more serious problems, such as hip dysplasia or spinal issues.

When to use the preparation

Puppies and young dogs:

• for incorrect limb posture (bow-legged or knock-kneed)
• for splayed feet and loose joints
• for weakened connective tissue

Adult dogs:

• for arthrosis
• as support for performance by improving bone flexibility
• as prevention against osteoporosis and movement problems
• after bone surgery and during fracture healing

Warning: The maximum daily dose is 12 tablets. For giant breed dogs weighing 60 kg or more, the maximum dose may be 16 tablets a day. Do not exceed the recommended dosage, as this may cause intestinal problems.
