Benefits of AlphaPro food:

grain free (grain-free) – a lower content of sugars (starches) coming from grains for better digestion, prevention of diarrhoea and obesity
all-in-one (all in one) – identical pieces of food prevent the animal from picking through its food
produced at low temperatures – AlphaPro extrusion takes place at lower temperatures than the extrusion of ordinary foods in order to preserve the properties of the raw materials and minimise the loss of vitamins and amino acids
the correct calcium/phosphorus ratio – an ideal ratio of 1.5-2
a high fibre content of 23 % - supporting intestinal motility (movement of the digesta in the intestine) and supporting the microflora
contains 25 % timothy hay – a grass with a high fibre content and lower calcium content (prevention of urinary tract problems), supporting proper chewing and the wearing down of teeth
with long fibre pieces – the raw materials are coarsely ground before processing to support the transit of digesta in the intestines and caecotrophy and to prevent diarrhoea
a low fat content of 2 % - contains the ideal amount of fats, coming from sources rich in essential Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids
no added sugar – prevents overweight problems
with prebiotics including fructooligosaccharides (FOS) rich in inulin – prevention of diarrhoea, intestinal cancer and cardiovascular diseases, they lower the level of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood
