Enzymel Intensive 35 Antimicrobial Gel for Gums 30ml
ENZYMEL Intensive 35 is a gel containing enzymes and chlorhexidine that supports healing of the mucous membranes and provides targeted hygiene for inflammation and bacterial infections.
The special blend of enzymes and the antiseptic chlorhexidine in the ENZYMEL Intensive 35 gel combines an antimicrobial effect with natural support for the healing of the gums, tongue and mucous membranes. The gel is intended for intensive yet gentle targeted hygiene during inflammatory conditions associated with bacterial infection, or where infection is a threat and represents a serious complication. The flavour-free gel adheres easily to the mucous membranes, does not irritate them and does not cause excessive unwanted salivation. Therefore it acts significantly longer than flavoured gels.
The patented blend in the ENZYMEL Intensive 35 range limits bacterial growth 4 times more effectively than chlorhexidine alone. The enzymes break down the protective coatings of microbes, which is why we were able to reduce the concentration of chlorhexidine to 0.035% while maintaining a broad antimicrobial spectrum. At such a low concentration, there is no discolouration of the enamel or loss of taste even with 8 weeks of use.
When to reach for the ENZYMEL Intensive 35 gel:
- For chronic inflammations in the oral cavity caused by microbial infection.
- In post-operative and post-implantation conditions where infectious complications are a risk.
- In other conditions accompanied by bleeding gums and swelling.

Dosage and method of use
Use the gel at least twice a day after cleaning your teeth, but ideally also between cleanings during the day. Rinse your mouth with water and gently dry the gums (e.g. with a tissue). Apply a small amount of gel to the required area (directly with the narrow neck of the applicator, using a cotton bud, a soft brush or a clean finger) and spread it. For wide interdental spaces, you can press the gel directly between the teeth using the narrow applicator.
The antimicrobial mucoadhesive gel works excellently as part of intensive care for up to 8 weeks. Combine it with an SLS-free toothpaste, such as the antimicrobial toothpaste ENZYMEL Intensive 35 or the enzyme toothpaste ENZYMEL Parodont.
