Indications: non-specific diarrhoea, acute / chronic gastroenteritis,
intestinal inflammation, colitis, exocrine insufficiency, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth syndrome, malabsorption / maldigestion, dietary errors
constipation, pancreatitis, parasitoses, hyperlipidaemia, protein-losing enteropathy, lymphangiectasia.
Specifics of the diet:
* fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) are a new source of fibre that helps maintain the natural intestinal microflora and thus prevents the overgrowth of pathogens
* the low fat content prevents stimulation of the pancreas; the highly digestible source of fats contained in a low concentration helps reduce the osmotic pressure in the intestinal lumen and prevents the occurrence of steatorrhoea, which worsens the course of the disease
* the Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids contained in a ratio of 5:1 to 10:1 help speed up the processes on the mucosa of the digestive tract
Dosage: (see the table on the packaging). Recommended length of administration: 3 - 12 weeks, long-term in cases of chronic pancreatic insufficiency, and 1 - 2 weeks in patients with acute manifestations of nutrient absorption disorders. In cases of lipid metabolism regulation disorders, the length of diet therapy is up to 2 months. The patient should have free access to water.
