EHEIM thermo filters are the only external filters in the world with an Integrated Heating System (IHS) that clean and circulate the water while also setting the correct temperature at the same time.

The EHEIM professionel 3 external aquarium filter cleans water in a closed circulation circuit.
Two intake lines allow individual selection of the intake areas in the aquarium.
A built-in maintenance-free pump ensures permanent circulation.
Water is led from the aquarium through various filter layers, where it undergoes mechanical, biological or adsorption filtration, and then flows back into the aquarium.
For the filter to work correctly, air must be released from the system after start-up, which is easily done with the help of the built-in priming aid.
