Francodex Salmon Oil for Dogs, Cats 500 ml
Salmon oil for dogs and cats is a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 unsaturated fatty acids, with beneficial effects on their coat.
Salmon oil is a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 unsaturated fatty acids. These are required by many bodily functions, and their deficiency can, among other things, cause dandruff, a dull coat or coat thinning. A greater amount of these unsaturated fatty acids is needed, for example, during a diet, periods of increased strain, pregnancy, lactation and growth. Adding salmon oil to the daily diet increases the palatability of food for fussy dogs and cats, thereby helping to prevent the risk of deficiency.
Composition:
Salmon oil 99.7%. Additives (/kg): technological additives: antioxidant: 1b306(i) tocopherol-rich extracts of natural origin 3000 mg. Analytical constituents: crude protein 0%, crude fat 99%, crude ash 0%, crude fibre 0%, essential fatty acids 14.5%, omega-6 fatty acids 12.5%, omega-3 fatty acids 18.5%, EPA 4.6%, DHA 5.2%.
Dosage:
Salmon oil can be mixed into a portion of food or given directly into the animal's mouth.
Recommended feeding: Give once a day.
- cats and dogs < 10 kg 2 doses (pumps)
- dogs 10 - 20 kg 4 doses (pumps)
- dogs 20 - 30 kg 6 doses (pumps)
- dogs > 30 kg 2 doses (pumps) for every 10 kg of body weight
2 pumps = 500 mg omega-3 including 250 mg EPA and 250 mg DHA.

Always ensure the animal has plenty of fresh water available. Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a dry, cool place. Protect from light.
