Young blackcurrant twigs make a healthy, tasty and fragrant treat.

The substances they contain have antibacterial and antiviral properties and speed up the healing of wounds and inflammation. Gnawing on the twigs helps wear down the teeth of rabbits and rodents such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus, gerbils, hamsters, rats and mice.
