The composition of Hill's Prescription Diet Feline k/d is specially prepared for cats with kidney disease. Kidney disease can be caused by a number of factors that bring various complications and can endanger your cat's life. Sometimes kidney disease develops alongside another illness, with a change in your cat's health, or it may be a hereditary disease specific to a particular cat breed, or caused by poor nutrition. The symptoms of kidney disease are difficult to recognise and are usually only discovered once two-thirds of kidney function has been lost.
