Brutus combines two products - Bioflor (universal fertiliser) and Chelatin (peat extract)
Thanks to Brutus fertiliser, plants receive optimal nutrients for beautifully coloured, sturdy leaves and rapid growth. The fertiliser also contains humic substances and tannins, which in an aquarium serve several functions: supplying, regulating, protective, absorbing harmful substances from the water, and buffering.
The peat extract contains humic acids and tannins that help create an environment similar to that found in nature. The water takes on a gentle brownish tint, which fades after a while. It reduces stress in fish and creates a protective layer on their skin - resistance to parasites, disease prevention. Humic substances and tannins also create ideal conditions for the development of eggs and embryos. The plant obtains the nutrients it needs, as well as a firmer, more resilient epidermis.
A healthy plant produces root exudates and algicides, which support bacterial activity and limit algae growth. As a result, algae do not occur on well-growing plants, or only to a limited extent on less active, older parts of the plant. Proper plant care - which involves optimising the amount of CO2 and nutrients and using a suitable light spectrum - is the basic prevention against algae!
A healthy plant creates suitable biological conditions for fish. The fish are then active, beautifully coloured and healthy.

Composition: The fertiliser contains K, Mg and the micronutrients Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Mo and B. It also contains humic acids (peat extract).

Dosage: Depending on the tank volume, dose 10ml of Brutus per 20 litres of aquarium water. Before fertilising, it is recommended to change about 1/5 of the water in the aquarium. For the fertiliser to work optimally, the aquarium water's pH should ideally be in the range of 6.3-6.8 depending on the KH (carbonate hardness). This pH is best achieved by applying CO2 or Acidon.
