Humican 1000 mg is a purely natural, highly effective veterinary preparation for dogs and cats. It helps with digestive tract disorders, and with the recovery of animals after illnesses and operations. It supports the immune system and aids the detoxification of the body in cases of poisoning.
Properties
The active substance of the preparation is humic acids, substances with a very high binding capacity. They bind microbial and fungal toxins, viral particles, free radicals and other compounds toxic to the body (heavy metals, ammonia, PCBs, dioxins, etc.), which are then excreted in the faeces. They show a good buffering capacity, thereby stabilising the pH in the digestive tract, and have a positive effect on the development of the desired intestinal microflora and on the formation of a healthy intestinal epithelium. They form a protective film on the surface of the mucosa and prevent the penetration of infection and toxins into the body; they have anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial and anti-carcinogenic properties. They bring a whole range of minerals into the body (e.g. Ca, Zn, Mg, Cu, Se, Fe and other naturally occurring trace elements). Humic acids effectively help in the prophylaxis and therapy of a number of diseases such as gastroenteritis, diarrhoea or metabolic disorders.

Dosage
Therapeutic dosage: one tablet per 4 kg of weight/day for 10-15 days. In acute diarrhoeal conditions, give a double dose at the start of therapy (2-3 days). In acute poisoning, up to triple the dose may be given. The dose can be divided into several applications during the day. (e.g.: 16 kg dog: 2 tablets in the morning and 2 tablets in the evening)

Warning
In patients with diarrhoea, especially acute diarrhoea, a sufficient intake of fluids must be ensured to prevent dehydration of the body.
