Lucky Reptile Herp Diner Bearded Dragon Blend 70g
A mix of preserved insects intended primarily for bearded dragons.
Bearded dragons love insects, but it is important to offer them a varied selection of different types of feeder insects.
The preserved Bearded Dragon Blend mix contains a mixture of locusts, large mealworms and mole crickets. Mole crickets in particular are very suitable for feeding reptiles, but unfortunately are not available live on the market. The insects are heat-treated before preservation.
Bearded dragons accept Bearded Dragon Blend very well; the feed can be offered in bowls or with tweezers. Preserved feeds have a big advantage over live insects – any parasites, which are often found in live feed, are killed by the heat treatment.
The nutritional value of Bearded Dragon Blend for bearded dragons is the same as the nutritional value of live insects, but this preserved feed has a better calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, because cuttlebone powder is added to it.
