The 4 biggest advantages of freeze-drying

• Compared with drying using warm air, freeze-drying has a number of benefits. Freeze-dried meat does not lose nutritionally valuable substances
• During lyophilisation, or freeze-drying, the meat does not pass through high temperatures, and therefore it retains the maximum of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other nutritionally valuable substances just like fresh meat. It retains a fresh flavour and texture
• Lyophilisation is a gentle method of drying, in which the meat does not lose its natural colour, structure or delicious flavour. It simply always tastes like fresh. It contains no preservatives, colourings or E-numbers
• During lyophilisation, natural preservation of the meat occurs. There is no need to add any preservatives or E-numbers, which artificially extend shelf life and prevent rapid spoilage. It has a long shelf life
• Another advantage of freeze-drying is a long shelf life. The meat retains its quality, delicious texture and flavour for a very long time.
