The feeding-ration weight stated on the food packaging is approximate. It depends individually on breed, age, activity, temperament, workload and genetic factors. Do not overfeed your dog just because you are swayed by its appetite and eagerness for the kibble. Overfeeding is the most common cause of digestive upset. Divide the daily ration for puppies into 5-3 portions according to age, and for adults into two portions. You can feed the food dry or moistened; do not leave moistened food in the bowl for longer than half an hour. The dog must have enough drinking water. Switch to the food gradually. Spend several days on the transition to the new food, mixing the new with the existing one.
