Effects on the body:

The most significant benefit of Chlorella is its ability to bind various toxins and heavy metals from the body - the intestines, thanks to the substance Sporopollenin, which forms an irreversible bond with toxins and leaves the body with the faeces. It thus acts preventively against viral infections, stomach inflammation, heart disease and tumour diseases.

Chlorella has a high content of easily digestible protein and minerals - above all magnesium, then iron in chelated form (digestibility over 90 %), calcium, zinc and potassium. Among the trace elements there are manganese, selenium, iodine, chromium and lithium. Algae of the genus Chlorella have a high content of B-group vitamins, provitamin A - beta-carotene, and gamma-linolenic acid (otherwise also contained in breast milk).

It contains the substance Chlorellin, which is a natural antibiotic that acts against pathogenic organisms without damaging the digestive microflora.

A specific component is also the so-called Chlorella Growth Factor - CGF. In young animals it supports the growth of the body and boosts their own immunity. In adults it further builds a strong immune system and supports healing processes.

Chlorella has strong antioxidant effects and supports the activity and function of the liver. It speeds up convalescence after illness, surgery or heavy physical strain. It supports the proper function of the thyroid gland.

Dosage: For low-activity dogs 1/2 a scoop (3 g) of Chlorella per 10 kg of the dog's body weight per day. For active dogs 1 scoop (6 g) per 10 kg / day. For very active dogs under strain 1 and 1/2 scoops (9 g) per 10 kg / day. For small dogs and cats under 10 kg it can be 1/3 of a scoop (+-2g) per day. When feeding twice a day, split the dose in half into each meal.

CAUTION: In white show dog breeds, regular, prolonged use of Chlorella may cause temporary, undesirable discolouration of the coat. After stopping the dosing, any resulting discolouration will fade within about 2 weeks.

Expiry and batch: see packaging. Store in a dry, dark place at room temperature up to approx. 20 °C in well-sealed PVC or paper packaging, in a dry and dark place, without direct sunlight on the packaging. Freezing or brief heat treatment does no harm.
