The active substances are obtained from natural drugs which, in addition to an excellent antiseptic effect, are characterised by their safety. Marigold, lavender, basil and propylene glycol are known for their ability to reduce the numbers of bacteria and yeasts; they also act against certain viruses and mites. Marigold and alpha-bisabolol have a proven soothing and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications:

Preventive care of the ear canal and ear flaps of dogs and cats - once a week. In the case of excessive soiling of the ear canal with cerumen and dead tissue, the solution can, after consulting a veterinarian, be applied once a day for eight days. Rinsing the ear canals is part of the therapy of infectious and parasitic otitis, but does not replace their treatment.

Method of application:

Easy use of OTOFIN ear lotion is enabled by the sufficiently long and elastic applicator, with which the solution can be applied sufficiently deep into the ear canal.

The ear canal must be filled with the solution and carefully massaged; excess liquid can be absorbed with cotton wool or a swab. The solution should act in the ear canal for a while, after which the animal can shake out the solution and the loosened wax. The rest of the product can again be absorbed with a swab; cerumen can be wiped out with gauze or a swab. Do not use cotton buds!

If the ear canal is heavily soiled, apply repeatedly.

Withdrawal period:

Not intended for food-producing animals.

Do not apply in the case of a perforated eardrum or in animals with known hypersensitivity to any of the active or excipient substances.
