Why choose Petkult Large Adult

60% lamb and turkey meat

A high energy source for large breeds. Protein from animal ingredients makes up 78.8% – helping maintain the muscle mass of an active dog.

Joint and bone protection

Glucosamine 1,000 mg/kg, chondroitin sulphate 1,000 mg/kg and MSM – joint support built right into the food, which large breeds need every day.

Healthy skin and a glossy coat

Omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA from Antarctic krill, and omega-6 acids support the skin, coat and cardiovascular system.

Optimal digestion

Dried chicory root (a natural source of inulin) and carob flour from the carob bean support proper digestive function.

Frequently asked questions

Which dogs is this food intended for?

For adult dogs of large breeds (roughly 25–60 kg in adulthood) from 12 months of age. For medium breeds, the same recipe is available as Petkult Medium Adult.

Does the food contain joint supplements?

Yes – glucosamine 1,000 mg/kg, chondroitin sulphate 1,000 mg/kg and MSM 40 mg/kg. For large breeds with greater strain on their joints, this can be supplemented with a separate joint supplement; consult your vet.

How do I switch to Petkult from another food?

Gradually, over 5–7 days: start with a quarter of the new portion mixed with the current food and increase the ratio daily. A gradual transition is easier on digestion, especially for more sensitive dogs.

How much kibble does a dog need per day?

Follow the dosage table above based on the dog's adult weight – for example, a dog weighing 30–40 kg needs 380–470 g per day. Adjust the amount according to the dog's activity level and condition, and always ensure access to fresh water.
