An installation adaptor for fitting the size L PetSafe® SmartDoor Connected pet door into metal or a wall. In some cases, installing the pet door requires additional PetSafe® accessories or professional help. Please note that only the size M SmartDoor can be installed into glass.
If you are installing the PetSafe® SmartDoor Connected pet door into metal, glass or a wall, you will need this installation adaptor. The adaptor minimises the interference that can occur between a metal door, the key and the sensor that allows access through the SmartDoor. This installation adaptor helps you fit your pet's new door securely by providing a base into which you can screw. In some cases, installing the pet door requires additional PetSafe® accessories or professional help. The installation adaptor is supplied in two sizes, M and L. The size must match the size of the pet door you purchased. Please note that only the Medium SmartDoor can be installed into glass. Consult a glazier regarding installation into glass.
