Science Selective sand is very fine and uniform in grain (all its particles are of a similar size) and is therefore suitable even for animals with very sensitive skin.

Bathing in quality sand helps small furry pets keep their coat clean, healthy and glossy. Chinchillas like to bathe in sand every day, while hamsters, gerbils and degus do so two to three times a week. If you want to treat your pet to a sand bath, pour approximately 2.5 cm of Science Selective sand into a tub with a high rim and let your pet bathe in it for 10–20 minutes. Replace the sand at least once a week. Remove any soiled sand immediately.
