Chips measuring 5 x 5 x 1 mm are made from pure, uncontaminated aspen wood. Thanks to its lower resin content, aspen wood is a safer material than coniferous wood (spruce, pine and others, which contain more of the so-called resin/pitch).

MILLA MORE bedding is 100% dust-free and does not fall apart. The chips are hypoallergenic and do not irritate the mucous membranes of animals or humans.
They have good absorption properties – 200% moisture absorption and odour (ammonia) absorption 3x higher than with shavings.

The wood used for production is grown in FSC-certified forests (guaranteeing sustainable forest management). The process of turning aspen wood into bedding takes place in a controlled eco-friendly facility using bioenergy. The chips are dried at a temperature of 100-120 °C (destroying all bacteria and mould).

The MillaMore bedding production process:

aspen logs → bark peeling → cutting into chips → drying (at a temperature of 100-120 °C, the drying heat is obtained by burning the peeled aspen bark and branches) → dedusting → packaging.
