MillaMore Supersoft Aspen Wood Chip Bedding for Rodents 50l/10kg

A premium natural bedding with excellent performance, providing maximum comfort. Suitable for hairless animals and all small rodents (mice, gerbils, hamsters, etc.).

Fine chips measuring 2 x 2 x 1 mm made from pure aspen wood sourced from clean Nordic forests. Thanks to its lower resin content, aspen wood is a safer material than coniferous wood (spruce, pine and others, which contain more of the so-called resin/pitch).

MILLA MORE bedding is 100% dust-free and does not fall apart. The chips are hypoallergenic and do not irritate the mucous membranes of animals or humans.

They have good absorption properties – 200% moisture absorption and odour (ammonia) absorption 3x higher than with shavings.

MILLA MORE bedding has been manufactured for 35 years in Estonia and supplied to controlled animal breeding facilities around the world. It is recommended by veterinarians and animal welfare experts.

MILLA MORE bedding is environmentally friendly. The chips are 100% biodegradable in nature, so you can compost them without worry. Their production is intended from the outset for animal bedding purposes; no residues from wood processing, crop cultivation or the paper industry are used.

The wood used for production is grown in FSC-certified forests (guaranteeing sustainable forest management). The process of turning aspen wood into bedding takes place in a controlled eco-friendly facility using bioenergy. The chips are dried at a temperature of 100-120 °C (destroying all bacteria and mould).

The MillaMore bedding production process:

aspen logs → bark peeling → cutting into chips → drying (at a temperature of 100-120 °C, the drying heat is obtained by burning the peeled aspen bark and branches) → dedusting → packaging.

MILLA MORE bedding is 100% hygienic, free from any impurities and foreign substances (residues from industrial production, pesticides from cultivation, free from bacteria and mould).

Overview of benefits:

• hygienic, dust-free, free from any impurities (industrial and chemical), free from pesticide residues, free from bacteria and mould
• high liquid absorption capacity (200%)
• high odour absorption capacity (ammonia absorption 3x higher than with common wood bedding)
