Simbia 1.25g+0.56g Collar for Cats 38 cm

The Simbia collar for cats (38 cm) is a veterinary medicinal product intended for adult cats and kittens from 10 weeks of age at risk of simultaneous infestation by fleas and ticks. The active substances are slowly and evenly released from the collar's polymer matrix directly into the skin and coat — fleas and ticks are killed by contact alone, without needing to bite the cat. The result is reliable protection without monthly applications.

Active substances:
One 38 cm collar (12.5 g) contains: imidacloprid 1.25 g, flumethrin 0.56 g.

Excipients:
Titanium dioxide (E171), black iron oxide (E172), dibutyl adipate, propylene glycol dioctanoate/didecanoate, epoxidised soybean oil, stearic acid, polyvinyl chloride.

What the collar protects against and for how long:

• Fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) — treatment and prevention, effective against fleas for 5.5 months from application
• Flea larvae in the cat's surroundings — prevention of development for 10 weeks
• Ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus turanicus) — acaricidal (killing) effect from day 9, repellent effect from day 2 after application
• Can be used as part of the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD)

Instructions for use:
Remove the collar from its protective pouch just before fitting. Unroll it and fit it around the cat's neck — when correctly fitted, you should be able to slide 2 fingers under the collar. Pass the loose end through the loop and cut off the excess 2 cm beyond the loop. Remove all ticks present on the cat before fitting. Wear the collar continuously, and after 5.5 months assess whether it needs replacing.

Warning:
Do not use on kittens younger than 10 weeks. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients. Veterinary medicinal product — read the package leaflet before use. Shelf life of the product: 24 months. Keep out of the reach of children.

Tip: Ideally fit the collar in spring before the start of the tick and flea season. After 5.5 months, check its condition and, if the risk of flea infestation persists, consider replacement or consult a vet.
