Science Selective House Rabbit is a food developed especially for rabbits kept indoors. Its high fibre content from selected plant sources supports the growth of healthy intestinal microflora and helps with tooth wear. Linseed (an excellent source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids) benefits the condition of the skin and coat. And thanks to added vitamins A and D, prebiotics and a balanced ratio of calcium and phosphorus, your rabbit will get truly everything it needs for its health from these tasty, crunchy pellets.

Pet rabbits may tend to be overweight due to lack of exercise and living in an environment without temperature fluctuations. That is why what Science Selective House Rabbit food does not contain is also important: no added sugar (not even in the form of molasses or syrup).

In combination with hay, Science Selective House Rabbit food will provide your bunny with complete and healthy nutrition. Of course, the animal must also have unlimited access to fresh water, and to add variety to its diet it is good to offer it the occasional handful of fresh vegetables.

HAY – The general rule is that a rabbit should be given a bundle of hay each day as big as itself. However, feeding guides are always only an approximate aid – daily amounts may vary depending on the rabbit’s activity and other factors. Therefore it is necessary to regularly check the animal’s body weight and overall condition.

If you decide to switch your rabbit to Science Selective House Rabbit food, we recommend introducing it into its diet gradually in increasing amounts over 10–14 days. If your rabbit is used to a sweetened diet, it may initially refuse the unsweetened food. But for the sake of its health it is worth persevering!

Composition: Dried timothy, wheat, soya bean hulls, soya meal, dried grass, dried carob pod husk meal, pea flakes, linseed, soya oil, dried wild thyme, calcium carbonate, prebiotics (mannan-oligosaccharides), yucca extract.

Nutritional additives/kg: vitamin D3 2,000 IU, iron (E1) 50 mg, iodine (E2) 1.5 mg, copper (E4) 7.5 mg, manganese (E5) 30 mg, zinc (E6) 100 mg, selenium (E8) 0.25 mg.

Analytical constituents: Crude protein 14 %, crude fibre 22 %, crude oils and fats 4 %, crude ash 5 %, calcium 0.6 %, phosphorus 0.4 %.

Feeding guide: Recommended daily amount – 25 g per 1 kg of body weight.
