Terrarium Lighting
Terrarium lighting replaces the sun for reptiles — without UVB light, they can't process calcium properly. Repti Planet bulbs cover the whole spectrum: UVB 5.0 and 15.0 fluorescent tubes, the combined Solar UVA and UVB 80 W, and the heat-emitting Halogen Sun and Daylight Basking Spot. For rainforest species, choose UVB 5.0; desert reptiles need the stronger 15.0 — and replace the tubes regularly, as the UVB output fades faster than the visible light.
