UMM is a monitoring litter for cats, thanks to which you can detect problems with your cat's urinary tract yourself in good time. Any deviation from the normal state (pH normal) is indicated by the colour of the litter based on the pH of the urine – you compare the colour yourself with the colour scale on the packaging.

Use:

Every month, after cleaning the cat's litter box, spread the entire contents of the monitoring litter pack evenly over the surface of the regular litter. 10 minutes after your cat uses the litter box (after urinating), compare the colour of the monitoring litter with the colours of the pH chart on the packaging (at the bottom of the pack).

If the result shows a colour deviation from the normal pH, i.e. a higher or lower pH, consult your vet about this immediately.

In households with multiple cats, each cat should have its own litter box so that the urine pH of each cat can be monitored individually.

If your cat digs noticeably before urinating, pour the monitoring litter into an empty litter box. After checking the urine pH, top up the litter box with regular litter. You can leave the rest of the monitoring litter in the litter box – it reduces odour.
