UV Sterilisers
A UV steriliser tackles both green water and cloudiness — the radiation destroys algae and pathogens as the water flows through. Eheim Reeflex offers the UV 350, 500 and 800 models, with outputs from 7 to 11 W, for aquariums from 80 to 800 litres. Choose the model based on your tank's volume; an undersized steriliser won't expose the water to the light for long enough to be effective.
