KalmVet is a supportive product for dogs and cats that relieves restlessness, fear of loud noises (thunderstorms, fireworks, etc.) and anxiety when travelling, moving house or arriving in a new household. When given in good time, it counteracts the harmful symptoms of stress in a natural, gentle and long-lasting way. Its antioxidant content makes it an excellent supportive product for animals with nervous system damage.
Main active substances:
- Tryptophan helps maintain a positive mood and good cognitive function, as it is a natural precursor of serotonin (the so-called happiness hormone), which is essential for maintaining emotional balance and calmness. It has a stabilising and calming effect and prevents aggression.
- Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) reduces tension and anxiety, and has an anxiolytic effect in both cats and dogs.
- Chamomile has a mild calming and anxiolytic effect.
Main benefits:
- contains natural ingredients, thanks to which it has no narcotic effect and is safe even with long-term use,
- contains active substances with a scientifically documented mechanism of action,
- exceptionally easy to administer thanks to the tasty twist-off capsule – the capsule can be given as a treat (it is entirely edible), or its contents squeezed into the mouth, onto the paw or into the food.
Composition: tryptophan, Valeriana officinalis, chamomile.
Dosage:
dogs with a body weight of < 10 kg – 1 twist-off capsule daily
dogs with a body weight of 10–25 kg – 2 twist-off capsules daily
dogs with a body weight of > 25 kg – 3 twist-off capsules daily
The unique shape and content of the twist-off capsule guarantee easy administration and high palatability. The capsule can be used in two ways: either given whole (the capsule is edible), or the end of the capsule can be twisted off and its contents squeezed into the mouth, onto the paw or into the food.
