GUANICID is a solution of an electrically positively charged polymer. A liquid, biodegradable algaecide suitable for swimming ponds. It forms a molecular-thin layer on the surface of the liner and stones and prevents slimy build-up.
GUANICID acts on the formation of enzymes in microorganisms, causing them to die off.
Use: For the first application into a pond where there are visible signs of emerging filamentous algae growth or greening water, dose 30 ml/ m3 . Then every 10 days 15 ml/m3 until it disappears completely.
It is good to start dosing in time as a prevention of slimy surfaces or algae, with a dose of 15 ml/m3 every 10 days. In the case of heavy filamentous algae growth, we recommend first removing it using the ANTI-ALGAE contact product and then dosing as above.
