WeConfort supports vitality and overall wellbeing in dogs and cats in various situations:

Composition: Hemp oil

Hemp oil is rich in cannabidiol (CBD) and can modulate the endocannabinoid system (ECS). When pain is related to inflammation or hyperalgesia, exogenous cannabinoids (such as CBD) induce varying levels of desensitisation.

In addition to all the functions associated with the ECS, hemp oil is rich in fatty acids that act as a powerful antioxidant.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) occurs in all mammals and functions as a regulatory system that plays an important role in the functioning of the brain, nervous system and immune system. The ECS is key to monitoring these systems and ensuring their proper function. When some function is disrupted, the ECS issues an alert that triggers a response in the body aimed at correcting the abnormal situation. Compounds that affect the ECS can be produced naturally by the organism (endocannabinoids) or obtained externally, such as CBD (cannabidiol). Once consumed, CBD can influence the endocannabinoid system and allow the body to work more efficiently.

Harpagophytum

WeConfort contains a concentrated dry extract of the Harpago plant (also known as devil's claw), obtained by removing impurities and further concentrating the active nutraceutical molecule.
It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, particularly in the treatment of painful joint manifestations. Studies have shown that this extract can inhibit two metabolic pathways of arachidonic acid, namely the cyclooxygenase (COX) pathway and the lipoxygenase (LOX) pathway, which reduces the production of eicosanoids such as prostaglandins. With regard to COX pathway inhibition, Harpago appears to inhibit COX-2 specifically, but not COX-1, which explains its high level of tolerability and milder side effects. This differs greatly from older anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which inhibit both non-specific isoforms of the enzyme.

Omega-3 (concentrate with EPA)

Using specific technological processes, it is now possible to separate the substances that make up omega-3, namely eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Recent studies have shown that DHA can help in the treatment of degenerative processes. EPA is associated with various metabolic processes in which inflammation occurs. EPA supplementation has positive effects on lipid metabolism. It reduces body fat accumulation and insulin resistance, and also has a positive effect on liver steatosis. Administration of EPA supports the synthesis of anti-inflammatory eicosanoids such as PG3 prostaglandin and LT5 leukotriene, and reduces the synthesis of highly inflammatory eicosanoids.

Dosage:

Animals up to 8 kg: 1 capsule every other day;
