Wolfsblut Dog Adult Black Bird 12.5kg
A complete grain-free food for adult dogs, dry food with turkey and sweet potato.
Wolves hunt their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. This provides them with meat and offal rich in nutrients, but also vegetables, fruit, berries, roots and herbs from the stomach contents of their prey. Cereals are not included here. In this way, the wolf takes in the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances it needs. Since the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut dry dog food is based on the natural feeding habits of the wolf. It contains plenty of meat or fish combined with superfoods that provide valuable ingredients – just as in nature, grain-free. Our selection of exceptional types of meat and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on the wolf's habitats and varied diet. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate and original diet, and thanks to the variety of recipes, every dog finds something it tolerates well. The BLACK BIRD dry food recipe combines wolf nutrition with the latest scientific findings on proper canine nutrition.

- Sweet potatoes : According to the American health authority CSPI, these are one of the richest vegetables thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
- Elderberries : These blue-black berries contain, in addition to anthocyanins, a lot of vitamin C and folic acid. The pigment sambucyanin they contain is also said to have an anti-inflammatory effect.
- Chokeberries : Chokeberry contains a large amount of plant compounds said to have particular health benefits, such as flavonoids and phenolic acid.
- Dandelion : Provides an impression of many minerals, such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
- Jerusalem artichoke : Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
