Wolves hunt their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. The individual ingredients of GREEN VALLEY food were put together jointly with vets to match the natural predatory behaviour of the wolf and the findings on holistic canine nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Potatoes : Provide complex carbohydrates and fibre, are low in fat, and contain 15 different vitamins, minerals and trace elements, such as magnesium, iron, zinc and phosphorus, as well as a high proportion of potassium, B vitamins and vitamin C.
• Fennel : Fennel is rich in essential oils that are beneficial for digestion and the gut. It also contains vital substances such as potassium, vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin C and silicic acid.
• Sea buckthorn : These orange berries contain ten times more vitamin C than lemons, as well as vitamins B12 and E, which are responsible for strengthening the immune system.
• Tomatoes : Despite their acidic taste, they are considered alkaline builders because they are rich in essential minerals, such as potassium, copper and iron.
• Jerusalem artichoke : Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Rose hips : Rose hips are one of the foods richest in vitamin C. In addition to vitamin C, rose hips naturally contain other vitamins and minerals. In particular, they stand out for their high content of calcium, potassium and copper.
• Aniseed : Often used as a home remedy because of the essential oils they contain, which are described among other things as antispasmodic, antibacterial and carminative.
