Wolves hunt their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, all the way to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. The individual ingredients of HUNTERS PRIDE food were put together by veterinarians to match the natural behaviour of the wolf as a predator and the latest findings on holistic canine nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Sweet potato: According to the American health authority CSPI, it is one of the richest vegetables thanks to its valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Pumpkin: One of the lowest-calorie vegetables, it is rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, minerals and phytosterols. The fibre it contains is highly digestible and aids digestion.
• Parsley: Parsley is traditionally used as a medicinal plant in many countries. The herb is rich in secondary plant substances and is considered a high-quality antioxidant.
• Blackcurrant: It is absolutely top-class in terms of composition. This is thanks in particular to the high concentration of the dark plant pigment anthocyanin and three times more vitamin C than oranges or lemons.
• Jerusalem artichoke: Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Ginseng: Used in Asia as a medicinal plant. The reason is the plant's high nutrient content, which is rich in amino acids, vitamins, copper, iron and calcium.
