Wolfsblut Dog Adult Light Wide Plain 12.5kg

Wolves hunt their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, all the way to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. This provides them with meat and nutrient-rich offal, as well as vegetables, fruit, berries, roots and herbs from the stomach contents of their prey. Cereals are not included. This is how the wolf obtains the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances it needs. Since the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut dry dog food is based on the wolf's natural feeding habits.

It contains plenty of meat combined with superfoods that provide valuable ingredients – just as in nature, without any cereals. Our selection of exceptional types of meat and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on wolf habitats and their varied diet. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate, authentic diet, and thanks to the variety of recipes, every dog will find something it can tolerate. The WIDE PLAIN LIGHT dry food recipe combines wolf nutrition with the latest scientific findings on proper canine nutrition.

• Canine nutrition based on the wolf model
• A recipe with natural ingredients
• The main ingredient is fresh horse, which is easily digestible for allergy sufferers
• Horse meat contains half the fat of beef. At the same time, it provides twice as much iron and almost three times as much calcium.
• Grain-free, since cereals do not occur in the natural diet of dogs' ancestors and are also one of the most common triggers of allergies in dogs
• With valuable superfoods such as sweet potatoes, pumpkin and parsnip, as well as chickpeas, sage and Jerusalem artichokes, along with other valuable ingredients
• With a superfood complex of the wild plants nettle, dandelion, Jerusalem artichoke and ginseng
• No maize, gluten, soya, flavour enhancers or artificial additives (except vitamins and minerals)
• Very popular, as horse meat tastes somewhere between beef and venison
• Also suitable for allergy sufferers and dogs at risk of allergies
• Developed in cooperation with vets
• Not tested on animals

The individual ingredients of WIDE PLAIN LIGHT food were put together with vets to match the wolf's natural prey behaviour and the findings of holistic canine nutrition. This is what makes Wolfsblut dry food unique.

• Pumpkin: One of the lowest-calorie vegetables, rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, minerals and phytosterols. Its fibre content is highly digestible and aids digestion.
• Parsnip: Tastes sweet and spicy, is rich in calcium, potassium, folic acid, zinc and vitamin C, and is considered particularly digestible.
• Chickpeas: Chickpeas are a legume rich in healthy nutrients. They contain high-quality plant protein, iron, B vitamins and calcium.
