Wolves have hunted their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. This gives them meat and offal rich in nutrients, but also vegetables, fruit, berries, roots and herbs from the stomach contents of their prey. Cereals are not included here. In this way the wolf takes in the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances it needs. The individual ingredients of the RANGE LAMB ADULT food were put together in cooperation with veterinarians to match the natural predatory behaviour of the wolf and the latest findings on holistic dog nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Wholegrain rice contains a particularly high amount of B vitamins, iron, zinc, magnesium and potassium compared to white, polished rice.
• Apples: A true nutrient bomb with 30 vitamins, trace elements, fibre, minerals and secondary plant substances such as polyphenols and pectin.
• Peas: In addition to unsaturated fatty acids, the small protein flakes also contain plenty of fibre, which is good for digestion and can regulate blood sugar levels.
• Blackberries: These berries contain a particularly high amount of magnesium and iron. Blackberries beat their local relatives in terms of provitamin A and vitamin E content too.
