Wolves have hunted their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. This gives them meat and offal rich in nutrients, but also vegetables, fruit, berries, roots and herbs from the stomach contents of their prey. Cereals are not included here. In this way the wolf takes in the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances it needs. Since the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut wet food is based on the natural feeding habits of the wolf. It contains plenty of meat or fish combined with superfoods that provide valuable ingredients – just as in nature, grain-free. Our selection of exceptional types of meat and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on wolf habitats and their varied diet. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate and original diet, and thanks to the variety of recipes, every dog will find something that suits it. The individual ingredients of the WILD DUCK food were put together by veterinarians to match the natural predatory behaviour of the wolf and the latest findings on holistic dog nutrition. WILD DUCK dry food combines high-quality sources of protein with easily digestible carbohydrates that are perfectly adapted to your dog's natural needs. Duck meat provides valuable protein and is particularly gentle for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Potatoes are an excellent gluten-free source of carbohydrates and support stable digestion.

The recipe was developed together with veterinarians and is based on the natural diet of the wolf. To ensure species-appropriate nutrition, we use only natural raw materials. WOLFSBLUT uses no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives, but relies on the power of superfoods such as sweet potatoes, elderberries, chokeberries, as well as dandelion, Jerusalem artichoke and ginseng, which provide valuable vitamins and minerals.

Our food is not only grain-free, but also free from maize, gluten, soya and flavour enhancers. Every product is manufactured without animal testing and undergoes strict quality controls.

Additives per kg: vitamin A (as retinyl acetate) 21,871 IU, vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 1,471 IU, vitamin E (as all-rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) 710 mg.

Trace elements: iron (as sulphate, monohydrate and iron(II) chelate of amino acids, hydrate) 95 mg, zinc (as zinc sulphate, monohydrate and zinc amino acid chelate, hydrate) 150 mg, manganese (as manganese(II) sulphate, monohydrate) 36 mg, copper (as cupric sulphate, pentahydrate and copper amino acid chelate, hydrate) 15 mg, iodine (as calcium iodate, anhydrous) 0.96 mg, selenium (sodium selenite) 0.23 mg.
