The individual food components of WILD DUCK & TURKEY were put together with vets to suit the wolf's natural prey behaviour and the latest findings on holistic dog nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Potatoes: Provide complex carbohydrates and fibre, are low in fat and contain 15 different vitamins, minerals and trace elements, such as magnesium, iron, zinc and phosphorus, as well as a high proportion of potassium, B vitamins and vitamin C.
• Elderberries: These black-blue berries contain, in addition to anthocyanins, plenty of vitamin C and folic acid. The pigment sambucyanin they contain is also said to have an anti-inflammatory effect.
• Aronia berries: Aronia contains large amounts of plant substances said to have particular health benefits, such as flavonoids and phenolic acid.
• Dandelion: Impresses with many minerals, such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
• Linseed: The fibre and mucilage in the small seeds have a positive effect on digestion and have a high content of polyunsaturated Omega 3 fatty acids.
• Jerusalem artichoke: Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Ginseng: Used in Asia as a medicinal plant. This is due to the plant's high nutrient content, which is rich in amino acids, vitamins, copper, iron and calcium.
