The individual ingredients of WILD DUCK PUPPY LARGE BREED food were developed in collaboration with vets, adapted to the wolf's natural prey pattern and the latest findings in holistic canine nutrition. This is what makes Wolfsblut dry food unique.

• Sweet potatoes: According to the American Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), these are among the vegetables with the highest nutrient content thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Pumpkin: One of the lowest-calorie vegetables, rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, minerals and phytosterols. Thanks to its fibre content, it is very easily digestible and aids digestion.
• Jerusalem artichoke: Contains a high proportion of inulin, which has a prebiotic effect and stimulates the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Blackberries: These berries contain particularly high levels of magnesium and iron. Their content of provitamin A and vitamin E also exceeds that of their domestic counterparts.
• Elderberries: These blue-black berries contain anthocyanins and a high concentration of vitamin C and folic acid. The pigment sambucyanin also has anti-inflammatory properties.
• Chokeberries: Chokeberries contain large amounts of plant compounds said to have particular health benefits, such as flavonoids and phenolic acids.
• Linseed: The fibre and mucilage in the small seeds have a positive effect on digestion and have a high content of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids.
• Dandelion: Rich in minerals such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
• Fennel: Rich in essential oils that are beneficial for digestion and the gut. It also contains important nutrients such as potassium, vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin C and silica.
