The individual ingredients of COLD RIVER SMALL BREED food were put together by veterinarians to match the natural prey behaviour of the wolf and the latest findings on holistic canine nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Sweet potatoes: According to the American health authority CSPI, they are one of the richest vegetables thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Chickpeas: Chickpeas are a legume and are rich in healthy nutrients. They contain high-quality plant protein, iron, B vitamins and calcium.
• Fennel: Fennel is rich in essential oils, which are beneficial for digestion and the intestines. It also contains vital substances such as potassium, vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin C and silicic acid.
• Jerusalem artichoke: Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Ginseng: Used in Asia as a medicinal plant. This is due to the high nutrient content of the plant, which is rich in amino acids, vitamins, copper, iron and calcium.
• Spirulina: This algae is rich in high-quality protein and has a high content of vitamin B12 and iron.
