Does your dog suffer from diarrhoea, vomiting or both? And not just once or briefly, but repeatedly or even permanently? There are several possible causes. The most common triggers are dietary changes or a disrupted intestinal microflora, but the cause can also be parasites, fungi or a disease of the stomach, intestine or pancreas. If the symptoms persist for several days, important minerals are lost and the body enters a state of deficiency. Precisely because the causes and consequences of digestive disorders can be varied, professional help is needed. After consulting your vet, our special veterinary food can help your dog.

• By relieving the stomach, intestines and pancreas. The dietary food has a low fibre content and contains easily digestible duck meat. Its low fat content can speed up gastric emptying and thus also protects the pancreas.
• By supporting a healthy and strong intestinal microflora. On the one hand, mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) stabilise the intestinal barrier. Regular intake helps keep the bacterial colonisation of the intestine in balance. On the other hand, prebiotics strengthen the natural intestinal microflora - and thereby above all digestion in the large intestine. Your dog benefits from both, because a healthy gut is better able to fight infections.
• The increased sodium and potassium content in the food improves the electrolyte balance. This helps the animal absorb the minerals lost through dehydration associated with diarrhoea and vomiting.
• The essential fatty acids contained in the food inhibit inflammatory reactions and thus support the function of the pancreas.
• The tasty and light recipe of duck and sweet potatoes supports food intake and ensures the supply of nutrients. This is especially important if your four-legged friend is already showing signs of deficiency caused by illness.

To reduce disorders of intestinal absorption: up to 12 weeks; to compensate for insufficient digestion: initially up to 12 weeks.

Chronic pancreatic insufficiency may require lifelong feeding. Please note that dietary complete foods can only support, but not replace, veterinary treatment.
