Natural lactose-free yoghurt. By including and regularly serving YOWUP! yoghurt, we ensure that our dog gets a sufficient supply of prebiotics and thus a long-term favourable state of the intestinal microflora, which can have a positive impact on the other functions of the organism.

LACTOSE-FREE - Lactose intolerance is a condition derived from a lack of lactase. This enzyme is produced during lactation and then stops being produced, although many people and some animals continue to produce it. When lactase stops being produced, diarrhoea and bloating occur, which is why for dogs and cats we recommend only 100% LACTOSE-FREE products, such as the Yowup yoghurt.
NO ADDED SUGAR - dogs and especially cats have a shorter intestine, they do not metabolise vitamins or sugars as quickly, and in the body they accumulate. Therefore it is not recommended to add any kind of sugar to products intended for pets. They also naturally dislike it. Cats have no fondness for sweets, and this is because the sweet taste is not perceived in cats' taste buds, so it is an unattractive reward.
0 % FAT - milk fat is a natural source of bioactive substances (butyric acid, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), phospholipids and sphingolipids, but the main source of fat and protein in dogs and cats is meat, fish or even dry food. The yoghurt Must contain 0 % FAT, because as a basic dietary supplement for its development it should not add many calories to the normal daily intake.
Prebiotics - when a person consumes yoghurt, they also take in the bacteria that make it up and that are still alive. These bacteria, usually Lactobacillus, have a beneficial probiotic effect. Prebiotics intended for dogs and cats contribute in the same way to maintaining a healthy intestinal microflora and to stimulating the defences of the immune system. 80 % of immunity is located in the intestines. It is a population of microorganisms that resides in the digestive tract and is responsible for the correct digestion of certain nutrients, fights against pathogen attacks and also produces some vitamins.
