Sometimes your four-legged companion deserves something extra – something that turns its everyday feeding into an experience it will want to repeat. Our pâtés are designed for exactly such moments. Their composition is wonderfully simple: they contain only pure meat, meat and bone broth, and a touch of tapioca as a natural thickener. You won't find any preservatives, artificial additives or flavourings in them, which is precisely why they are also suitable for furry friends with more sensitive digestion.

The pâté is suitable for all ages and breeds of dogs and cats; it contains no gluten, sugar, chemicals, flavourings or soya.

And since the pâté is made from cooked ingredients, it is also soft enough for older dogs and cats to manage easily.

Ideal even for four-legged allergy sufferers

The treats are also suitable for allergy sufferers, as they contain none of the common allergens such as wheat or soya. However, some companions' immune systems can overreact even to certain animal proteins, which is one of the reasons we offer five different varieties: pâté with pork, chicken, beef, turkey, and a salmon-and-white-fish duo. So every nose will sniff out the right one for it.

Perfect for adding variety to the diet

Nobody wants to eat the same thing all the time – and a furry friend's microbiome isn't exactly thrilled by a monotonous diet either. The pâtés are also great for adding variety to the menu, so your companion can always look forward to what you're preparing for its bowl this time. Of course, you can also use them as a great reward during training, or simply when you want to show your dog or cat even more love. Just be careful that they don't get so used to the pâtés that they start refusing everything else. But honestly, with our healthy, tasty, cold-pressed kibble, that's not very likely.

The pâtés also naturally contain a lot of moisture, so they come in handy for those who tend to view plain water more as a necessary evil.

Contrary to popular belief, physical activity is not the be-all and end-all of our furry friends' contentment. It's also important to regularly stimulate their brains – after all, thanks to more mentally demanding activities, companions gain extra confidence and trust in their own abilities. For example, you can fill a treat-dispensing toy with the pâté and simply watch as your dog or cat engages its natural instincts. You can also use the pâtés in sensory bowls, combining them with other treats such as our famous yoghurt or freeze-dried snacks. And watch out – the pâté has such an irresistible aroma that your companion will have polished it off before you can turn around. To slow down its eating pace, treat it to a licking mat.

Do you often travel with your best friend? Then you surely know how tricky it can sometimes be to choose the ideal food for any trip. Our pâtés, however, come in a practical package that's easy to take with you – to serve it, you just need to open it and squeeze it out. Just bear in mind that the pâtés are a complementary food. If you want to offer your companion something complete while travelling, choose our cooked food instead and pack a handy travel bowl too.

How do you choose a pâté that will be a hit at every feeding?

When choosing pâtés, we recommend considering a few key factors so that your pet gets the very best.

• Composition is the foundation. Avoid chemical additives like a dog avoids a loud vacuum cleaner. It's best to choose pâtés that contain only meat and a few natural ingredients that won't put unnecessary strain on digestion. An added bonus is ingredients that don't come from unethical factory farms.
• Choose according to taste preferences. A hundred furry friends, a hundred tastes. If you don't yet know what your companion likes best, try offering it different varieties.
• Practical packaging = fewer worries. New gourmet experiences are needed on the road too. For example, our pâtés have very simple opening, which every active owner will appreciate.
• For four-legged allergy sufferers, look for hypoallergenic products. Wheat, soya and other well-known troublemakers have no place in any companion's bowl, but for allergy sufferers this applies doubly. If your dog or cat suffers from an autoimmune condition, choose hypoallergenic varieties.

Dosage

Nothing should be overdone, even when it comes to treats like this. The recommended dose is 50 g of pâté per 10 kg of body weight per day. However, bear in mind that this is a treat, so the dosage also needs to be adjusted to your companion's current condition and activity level. Also remember to deduct the amount given from its regular feeding ration.

Ideally serve the pâté at room temperature and make sure your companion always has plenty of fresh water in its bowl.

Store the pâté away from direct sunlight, ideally in a cool place, though it doesn't necessarily need to be in the fridge. As it contains no chemical substances, it must be consumed within 48 hours of opening.
