Characteristics:
Alaptid (a spirocyclic synthetically prepared dipeptide) stimulates the growth of granulation tissue and accelerates the epithelialisation process and the course of wound healing.
Use:
A cosmetic veterinary product that can be used in all warm-blooded non-food animals for the treatment of minor skin and mucosal injuries, burns, abrasions, frostbite, bedsores, chemical burns to dogs' paws from salt in the winter period, and so on.
Method of use:
Externally on the skin. Apply the ointment to the designated area of skin in a layer 2 - 3 mm thick, optionally bandage it lightly and, with occasional checks, leave it in place for the time needed to support the healing of the wound. In cases where a bandage cannot be applied, the ointment is applied twice a day, or as needed. The duration of application depends on the extent of the damaged area and the state of regeneration. The usual length of application is in the range of 3 - 10 days, and in chronic, neglected cases even longer.
